Well, this week something new, a rich thick burger I'm calling the Big Dog Burger! Think, St. Bernard or Mastiff not Shiatsu! (Editors Note: with Jeff's 5th grade since of humor, he just really wanted to say Shiatsu...our apologies.) Read on...

Soups
One of the Barking Dog classics this week, Shaker Tomato Soup! A rich tomato based vegetable stock with celery and onions, a pinch of crushed red pepper and finished with a dab of cream and fresh parsley.

And as always, we have our award-winning Tucker's Nantucket Clam Chowder...Clams, Cream, Bacon and Butter...classic.

Daily Specials
The Big Dog Burger, 8 ounces featuring a blend of Short Rib, Brisket and Chuck seared on the flattop for a nice caramelized crust to medium rare topped with Sharp Cheddar Cheese and served on a buttered and grilled Brioche Bun with Mayo, Lettuce, Onion and Tomato...the classic American Burger!

Entree Salads
The first of our two Entree Salad offerings, Spinach Salad, featuring fresh organic Spinach tossed with a warm Bacon Vinaigrette and topped with our own house-cured "Bark Lard" Lardons, Red Onion, hard-cooked Brown Eggs, Bean Sprouts, Sun-dried Tomatoes, a dusting of Sunflower Seeds.

And we also continue with our Barking Dog's "Tee Pee" Salad. That iconic Tee Pee Dressing tossed with Iceberg Lettuce and topped with julienned Beets and homemade Croutons served in wooden bowls...a true classic!

Mary Beth's Salad, our featured House Salad starts with organic Field Greens topped with fresh Oranges, Apples, dried Cranberries, Red Onion, spicy sweet Pecans and a dusting of Blue Cheese. A homemade Raspberry Vinaigrette and toasted Baguette are served on the side.
