Well, what can I say, the older I get, the shorter the "long weekends" get...what's up with that? Must be some sort of time warp continuum...that or I'm missing it with all those naps thrown in...naw, gotta be the time warp thing. On to...

"This Week's Special Fare"

Soup of the Day
New Castle Ale Beer Cheese Soup, the Soup of the Day this week, features three Cheeses, homemade stock and a couple bottles of New Castle...ok, more than a couple bottles. Simmered to blend and bring the flavors together and finished with a shot of Tabasco...this is one of my favorites!

Daily Special
The Daily Special this week is a customer favorite, and you know who you are, a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. Fresh, Chicken Breasts lightly seasoned and breaded, fried to a golden brown and topped with Jeff's Buffalo Sauce with a nice kick of heat, on a toasted roll with shredded Lettuce and finished with our own made from scratch, and several other ingredients, Blue Cheese Dressing.

Our second Special offering, "Life's a Beach", Goat Cheese, Red Onion, roasted Tomatoes, Avocado, Cucumbers, served on buttered and toasted Multi-Grain Bread. Or if you prefer, for a little extra, add a couple slices of "Bark Lard". Served with your choice of MB's Cole Slaw or Chips and Overnight Pickles. We're also featuring our "Bark Lard" BLT as did Food Network's "Triple D"! Thick slices of our own in-house cured Bacon, fresh Lettuce. Basil Mayo and Jeff's homemade Tomato Jam and served with your choice of MB's Cole Slaw or Chips.

Entree Salads
Local Indiana Asparagus is the star of our first Entree Salad offering. Lightly drizzled with a Lemon Vinaigrette, crisp Prosciutto and soft-cooked Eggs.

And Mary Beth's Salad, our featured House Salad starts with organic Field Greens topped with fresh Oranges, Apples, dried Cranberries, Red Onion, spicy sweet Pecans and a dusting of Blue Cheese. A homemade Raspberry Vinaigrette and toasted Baguette are served on the side.
