I'm in the mood to make Boatmen's Stew, so...Boatmen's Stew it is! Clams, Shrimp, Scallops and Cod in a rich broth with Carrots, Tomatoes and Potatoes and served with crusty Bread!
And as always, we have our award-winning Tucker's Nantucket Clam Chowder...can't decide between the Stew and the Chowder?...I'd go for a cup of both!
We're putting a little twist on our Barking Dog Patty Melt this week. Our "thin & crispy on the edges" burger on toasted Marble Rye, Special Sauce, caramelized Onions and topped with....our own homemade Pimiento Cheese! And while we're at it, let's serve it with a side of our Pommes Frites! I'm so excited! Sort of a New Jersey Diner meets Tennessee...uh...you get the idea.
And as always, we're featuring our "Bark Lard" BLT as did Food Network's "Triple D"! Thick slices of our own in-house cured Bacon, fresh Lettuce and Jeff's homemade Tomato Jam. All sandwiches are served with your choice of MB's Cole Slaw or Chips and Overnight Pickles.
And lastly and certainly not least, Mary Beth's "Life's a Beach", features Goat Cheese, Red Onion, Tomato Jam, Avocado, Sprouts and Cucumber, served on buttered and toasted Multi-Grain Bread. Or if you prefer, for a little extra, add a couple slices of "Bark Lard".
Since we put a little twist on our Patty Melt, let's shake up the Entree Salad too. Fresh organic baby Spinach, Bacon (a must have), Sundried Tomatoes, charred Red Onions, toasted Walnuts and crumbled Blue Cheese served with Mary Beth's homemade French Dressing...sounds good.
And we also continue with our Barking Dog's "Tee Pee" Salad. That iconic Tee Pee Dressing tossed with Iceberg Lettuce and topped with julienned Beets and homemade Croutons served in wooden bowls...a true classic!
Mary Beth's Salad, our featured House Salad starts with organic Field Greens topped with fresh Oranges, Apples, dried Cranberries, Red Onion, spicy sweet Pecans and a dusting of Blue Cheese. A homemade Raspberry Vinaigrette and toasted Baguette are served on the side.
