Well, And We're Back!!! Rested and relaxed. While we're still adjusting to "real" time after being on Salt Cay "island" time, in which case you might receive this e mail later today...or sometime tomorrow...maybe.

"This Week's Special Fare"

Soups
Thai Carrot-Ginger Soup is the Soup of the Day offering this week. Rich with Carrots in a homemade Chicken Stock, a bit of heat from fresh Ginger (thanks Ginger), a little Coconut Milk for balance and finished with a touch Cream. The Soup is garnished with a sprinkling of toasted Coconut and served with crispy wontons.

And as always, we have our award-winning Tucker's Nantucket Clam Chowder, made daily with sweet tender Clams, Cream and Butter and served with Vermont Oyster Crackers.

Daily Specials
I've really had a taste for this sandwich, so I'm making it...a Barking Dog Cubano. Our version of a Cuban Sandwich features nicely seasoned, with a touch of heat, roast Indiana Pork Loin, shaved Ham, Swiss Cheese and sliced Kosher Pickles, a little Chipolte Mayo and Yellow Mustard on a Cuban Roll then grilled and pressed to seal in all those wonderful flavors.

And as always, we're featuring our "Bark Lard" BLT as did Food Network's "Triple D"! Thick slices of our own in-house cured Bacon, fresh Lettuce and Jeff's homemade Tomato Jam. All sandwiches are served with your choice of MB's Cole Slaw or Chips and Overnight Pickles.

And lastly and certainly not least, Mary Beth's "Life's a Beach", features Goat Cheese, Red Onion, Tomato Jam, Avocado, Sprouts and Cucumber, served on buttered and toasted Multi-Grain Bread. Or if you prefer, for a little extra, add a couple slices of "Bark Lard".

Entree Salads
A new salad for us this week, one we've been kicking around for a while...Greek Quinoa Salad with Shrimp. Home grown Cherry Tomatoes, Cucumber, Kalamata Olives, Red Onion, Quinoa and poached Shrimp tossed with a homemade Greek Vinaigrette and finished with a dusting of Feta Cheese...Healthy, Light and Fresh.

And we also continue with our Barking Dog's "Tee Pee" Salad. That iconic Tee Pee Dressing tossed with Iceberg Lettuce and topped with julienned Beets and homemade Croutons served in wooden bowls...a true classic!

Mary Beth's Salad, our featured House Salad starts with organic Field Greens topped with fresh Oranges, Apples, dried Cranberries, Red Onion, spicy sweet Pecans and a dusting of Blue Cheese. A homemade Raspberry Vinaigrette and toasted Baguette are served on the side.
