Well,...Editor's Note:...Jeff's opening this week as been edited for content. All I can say is that it had something to do with the Easter Bunny and the best ways to braise Rabbit. Our apologies...

"This Week's Special Fare"

Spicy Black Bean Soup starts things off this week. Black Beans, Tomatoes and Chiles form the base. Simmered in homemade Chicken Stock with hints of Garlic, Cumin and Cilantro. Garnished with shredded Cheese and served with Oyster Crackers...sounds good.

And as always, we have our award-winning Tucker's Nantucket Clam Chowder, made daily with sweet tender Clams, Cream and Butter and served with Vermont Oyster Crackers...perfect to-go or enjoy a cup or bowl at the 'Dog while you catch up on the latest neighborhood news.

Daily Specials
The first of our Daily Specials this week...Fish Tacos! Nicely seasoned Cod lightly breaded and sauteed to flakey perfection served on warm Corn Tortillas with Napa Cabbage, homemade Guacamole and Pico de Gallo, finished with a Lime Crema and a couple wedges of Lime. A great way to start things off this week!

And as always, we're featuring our "Bark Lard" BLT as did Food Network's "Triple D"! Thick slices of our own in-house cured Bacon, fresh Lettuce and Jeff's homemade Tomato Jam. All sandwiches are served with your choice of MB's Cole Slaw or Chips and Overnight Pickles.

Entree Salads
Our first Entree Salad offering this week features organic Greens tossed with a Garlic Confit Dressing, roasted Beets, sweet toasted Pecans and crisp Ham with homemade Deviled Eggs.

Mary Beth's Salad, our featured House Salad starts with organic Field Greens topped with fresh Oranges, Apples, dried Cranberries, Red Onion, spicy sweet Pecans and a dusting of Blue Cheese. A homemade Raspberry Vinaigrette and toasted Baguette are served on the side.
