Several customers along with Henry requested the Ayer's Tea Room legendary and iconic Chicken Velvet Soup. Rich, creamy and chickeny (?) and loaded with nice chunks of Chicken. While we can never replicate the original, I guess I would call our version a Chicken "Velveteen" Soup.
And as always, we have our Tucker's Nantucket Clam Chowder...an original in it's own right.
Bruce requested the Big Dog Burger so here it is! A rich thick burger featuring a blend of Short Rib, Brisket and Chuck seared on the flattop for a nice caramelized crust to medium rare topped with Sharp Cheddar Cheese and served on a buttered and grilled Brioche Bun with homemade Mayo, Lettuce and hand-cut Beer-battered Onion Rings and served with your choice of MB's Cole or Chips and Overnight Pickles.
And as always, we're featuring our "Bark Lard" BLT as did Food Network's "Triple D"! Thick slices of our own in-house cured Bacon, fresh Lettuce and Jeff's homemade Tomato Jam. All sandwiches are served with your choice of MB's Cole Slaw or Chips and Overnight Pickles.
And lastly and certainly not least, Mary Beth's "Life's a Beach", features Goat Cheese, Red Onion, Tomato Jam, Avocado, Sprouts and Cucumber, served on buttered and toasted Multi-Grain Bread. Or if you prefer, for a little extra, add a couple slices of "Bark Lard".
And this one is for Nancy...Shrimp Louis Salad. Crisp Romaine Lettuce topped with nice Jumbo Shrimp, English Cucumber, Sweet Cherry Tomatoes from the garden, Kalamata Olives, Red Onion, hard-cooked Egg and Blue Cheese, and served with a homemade Louis Remoulade Dressing.
And we also continue with our Barking Dog's "Tee Pee" Salad. That iconic Tee Pee Dressing tossed with Iceberg Lettuce and topped with julienned Beets and homemade Croutons served in wooden bowls...a true classic!
Mary Beth's Salad, our featured House Salad starts with organic Field Greens topped with fresh Oranges, Apples, dried Cranberries, Red Onion, spicy sweet Pecans and a dusting of Blue Cheese. A homemade Raspberry Vinaigrette and toasted Baguette are served on the side.
